Health for Life

At Greenholm, we hope to promote an ethos and environment which encourages a proactive approach to developing a healthy lifestyle.

We focus on growing food, healthy eating and cooking, physical activity and try to involve families as much as possible in the process.

Our school farm allows children the opportunity to sow seeds and tend to plants in order for us to grow our own food.

We ask families to pack healthy snacks in lunch boxes and for children to drink only water throughout the day. For ideas on healthy snacks have a look at this website: https://www.nhs.uk/healthier-families/food-facts/healthier-snacks/

Physical Activity is promoted at Greenholm through inspiring and exciting PE lessons, swimming lessons, bikeability and forest school activities. We also have a number of after school clubs which offer a range of different sports and games.
